Decisions Connector for Perplexity (Coming Soon)
The Decisions connector for Perplexity is coming soon. Built on the Model Context Protocol (MCP), it will let you bring your meeting material into Perplexity alongside your research — agendas, recaps, decisions, action items, and files, all grounded in your own Microsoft 365 content.
What you'll be able to do
- Pull a meeting's agenda, AI Recap, or AI Minutes into your research thread
- Check what was decided and which action items are open, with owners and due dates
- Find meeting files, decks, notes, and recordings across SharePoint, OneDrive, and Teams
- Combine web research with your team's own meeting context in one place
How it will work
The connector uses the same Decisions MCP server that powers the Decisions connector for Claude. You'll connect Decisions from Perplexity's connector settings and sign in with your own Microsoft 365 work account. Your meeting data stays in your organization's Microsoft 365 tenant, and Perplexity sees only what you can already open yourself — see how Decisions connectors work.
When will it be available?
Perplexity support is in development. When it goes live, Perplexity switches from "Coming soon" to "Available" on the Connectors page in the Decisions Admin portal — no update needed on your side. Can't wait? The Claude connector and the Microsoft Copilot connector are available today.
FAQ
Will my meeting data be used to train AI models?
No. Decisions never uses your meeting content to train AI models, and your data stays in your organization's Microsoft 365 tenant.
What will admins need to do?
Turn on MCP access in the Decisions Admin portal under Decisions AI → Connectors. Each person then connects with their own Microsoft 365 work account.
