Meeting not found

This article explains what to do if you can’t open the agenda and see “Meeting not found”, both as a meeting admin and attendee. It walks you through the most common cause and shows how to resolve the issue.

What the error means

When Decisions can’t find the meeting folder, it can’t load the meeting content, including the agenda. The most common cause is that the folder was deleted or moved in SharePoint or OneDrive after the meeting was set up.

If you’re not a meeting admin, you may see this error and be unable to restore the folder yourself. Contact the meeting organizer and ask them to check whether the meeting folder was moved or deleted

Fix: restore the meeting folder from the Recycle Bin

If the folder was deleted, you can often restore it.

  • 1) Open the SharePoint site (or OneDrive) used for the meeting

    • If you’re not sure which site, check where meeting files are normally stored for that meeting/team.

  • 2) Go to the site’s Recycle Bin

    • In SharePoint: open the site → select Recycle bin

    • In OneDrive: select Recycle bin

  • 3) Look for the meeting folder

    • If you find it, select it and choose Restore

  • 4) Try opening the agenda again in Decisions

    • Return to the dashboard and refresh the page/tab if needed.

Tip: In SharePoint, also check the Second-stage recycle bin (site collection recycle bin) if you don’t see it in the first Recycle Bin.

If you still can’t access the agenda

  • Ask a site owner or IT admin to verify whether the folder was permanently deleted

  • If your Organization uses retention policies, IT may be able to recover it
