In no time, you'll have AI in every meeting. Here's everything you need to know to set up your account and organization for success.
Complete the Decisions AI Setup on your M365 Tenant
To fully utilize AI features in Decisions, you need to make adjustments to a few settings within both Decisions and your Microsoft tenant to maximize the platform's capabilities. As a reminder, Decisions AI is separate application from the core Decisions product that requires its own approvals and comes with an additional set of Terms of Use.
You (or someone else completing these steps on behalf of your organization) will need to be a global administrator in both your M365 tenant and within Decisions to accomplish these steps. (Not sure who is a Decisions admin at your organization? Email support@meetingdecisions.com for assistance)
Step 1: Approve Additional Permissions
In order to maximize the accuracy and performance of the AI meeting recap functionality, Decisions AI needs to be able to process any transcripts created during the meeting.
To do so, navigate to the 'Permissions' section of the Decisions Admin Portal and connect the Decisions AI app. This will grant admin consent for all users on your tenant to the app, and allow access to transcripts for Meeting Recaps, Meeting Minutes and more.
Step 2: Assign Users
In order for individual users to access the AI tools, they must be assigned either a free or premium license. Each paid Decisions license comes with 100 AI credits per month for AI features. A Premium AI license removes any credit restriction, and you can view pricing information on the Decisions pricing page.
- To start, go to 'Decisions AI' section in the same section of the Decisions Admin Portal.
- On the 'Manage licenses' tab you can search for the name of the user you want to add or change license information for.
- Assign them a free license if they are only using the associated credits, or a premium license for no restrictions.
- An invitation will be sent to them to finish setting up their account if they have not already done so.
Step 3: Adjust additional settings
Decisions AI processes data on EU- or U.S.-based Microsoft Azure data centers, and by using Decisions AI you agree to additional Terms of Service. There are additional settings that can be updated on a tenant-level within the Decisions Admin Portal.
Under the 'Configuration' tab of the 'Decisions AI' section is where you can modify these settings including:
- Choosing to allow Decisions AI to be accessible to all tenant users, or only to those assigned free or premium licenses
- Selecting the data processing region, currently available with local Azure OpenAI servers in the EU and United States.
