September 2024 - Product Updates

Reconnect agendas in Decisions when changing a meeting series, explore our free plan for small teams, and discover Tags 2.0 for streamlined workflow management.

Reconnecting Agendas After Meeting Series Changes

When updating a recurring meeting series in Outlook, using the "This and all following events" option can split the series into separate segments. This change may cause the agenda to disconnect within Decisions.

If your agenda becomes disconnected, you will see a prompt with details of the old and new meeting series. Follow these steps:

  1. Review the Old and New Series Information: The prompt will show the dates and times of both the original and new series.
  2. Choose an Option:
    • Reconnect Existing Agenda: Reconnect your agenda to the new series to continue using it seamlessly.
    • Create New Agenda: Start fresh with a new agenda for the updated series.

These options ensure that your agendas remain organized and up-to-date, even when meeting series changes occur.

New Free Plan for Small Organizations

We’re excited to announce a free plan for small organizations! Companies with 30 or fewer active licensed users on their Microsoft 365 tenant can now equip up to 5 users with Decisions' essential features, including agenda building, collaboration, and minute-taking tools.

A paid subscription is still required for additional licenses beyond 5 users or to access premium features such as voting and case submission. Access to Decisions AI without credit restrictions also requires a paid, Premium AI license.

Tags 2.0 Now Available

We're introducing Tags 2.0 to streamline the management of agendas and decisions for larger organizations. Here's what's new:

  • Team-Level Tag Management: Tags are now stored and managed at the team level, allowing different teams to use the same tag names.
  • Global Search Integration: Tags now appear in global search results, and all meeting artifacts linked to a tag can be easily retrieved.
  • Improved Implementation: Existing tags will automatically migrate to SharePoint lists for enhanced security and instant updates.
  • Simplified Management: Tags can be managed directly in Teams settings under the "Tags" tab.

This update optimizes tag usage and improves overall efficiency for complex workflows.
