Network requirements and whitelisting of endpoints
Decisions is a cloud-native SaaS application accessed through encrypted HTTPS endpoints with no local infrastructure required. Users interact via web browsers, Microsoft Office add-ins, or Microsoft Teams, with no inbound traffic flows into customer environments.
Network requirements
For organizations with outbound firewall or proxy limitations, Decisions operates from a defined set of domains covering the web frontend, static resources, APIs, real-time collaboration, and AI services (unless disabled). All communication is encrypted with TLS 1.2 or newer.
The platform eliminates configuration complexity: there are no inbound firewall rules to configure, no VPN tunnels to establish, and no software to install.
Endpoints
The following endpoints are shared across all regions:
- app.boarddecisions.com
- api.boarddecisions.com
- cdn.boarddecisions.com
- decisions.service.signalr.net
- decisions-analytics-prod.azurewebsites.net
AI endpoints depend on your tenant's processing region:
- EU region: api.meetingculture.ai
- US region: us.api.meetingculture.ai
Troubleshooting
If users see a generic error when generating meeting minutes or a custom recap — for example, "Oh no, looks like something went wrong…" — the most common cause is that calls to the AI endpoint for your region are being blocked by a firewall, proxy, or content-filtering system. Check your outbound traffic logs for denied requests and whitelist the endpoint as described above.
